The purpose of the Anna Award is to provide funds to Arts for Learning Teaching Artists for either professional development or for program enhancement.
To apply, Arts for Learning Teaching Artist must
1) have been a part of the Arts for Learning roster for at least three full years;
2) be a resident of the state of Indiana; and
3) be in compliance with all Arts for Learning policies and procedures.
You may apply in one of these two categories:
Professional development: Activities such as attending conferences, taking classes and doing research
Program enhancement: New supplies, props, costumes or other equipment for a current Arts for Learning program.
Applications are due in the Arts for Learning office by Friday April 21, 2017 at 3pm. Late applications will not be accepted. Award recipients will be notified by May 15, 2017.
The Anna Award will be presented at the Annual Board Meeting June 20, 2017 at 4:45pm.
*New this year* Anna Award recipients are strongly encouraged to make all efforts to attend this meeting to receive the award. If not in attendance, it is the recipient’s responsibility to either be available for a video call or to create an acceptance video/letter that would be a reasonable substitution for attendance.
Applications will be adjudicated by the Arts for Learning program staff and Board Program Committee, at their sole discretion.
Funds should be utilized within one year of receiving the Anna Award. The recipient/s must provide a written final report detailing the use of the Anna Award and the benefits to Arts for Learning by July 1, 2018.
