About the artist

Dave Schroeder is a member of the Circle City Bluegrass Band, which formed in 1995 and has four members, each with ten to twenty years experience playing bluegrass and folk music. Donnelly, a.k.a. Delmar Lincoln, has played the banjo since 1978 for numerous bands including High Ground, The Black Walnut Boys and Lonesome Griddle. He has also produced and judged Indiana State Fair music contests. Another Lonesome Griddle alumnus, Thaxton, is the band’s mandolinist and sings tenor harmonies. Thaxton was a member of the Red Pine Ramblers, T.J.’s Review on the “doghouse bass” and sings baritone harmony. He has played banjo and guitar for the Nickle Plate Band and the Witch Hazel Valley Boys. Adding a mix of bluegrass, Celtic, blues and jazz to the band, Schroeder’s guitar skills have earned him top honors at the Indiana State Fair.
