Jingo M. de La Rosa

About the artist

When most kids in the Philippines played hide-and-seek during nightly blackouts in the 90’s, Jingo preferred staying indoors; learning how to draw beside a dim lamp. He later immigrated to the US and is now a professional Illustrator, having worked with world-renowned companies such as Penguin-Random House and Duncan Toys. He has been illustrating professionally since 2011. Jingo says this about his artistry, “Illustration to me is more than just a career. I wouldn’t even call it a passion. Passion is overrated. To me, it’s a way of life more than anything else. It’s a gift that I simply can’t ignore, even if I tried.”
