Indianapolis – March 3, 2020 – Arts for Learning Indiana is proud to announce the addition of 8 local artists to our roster of teaching artists. The artists joining our roster include:

Chantel Massey, Spoken Word Artist
Gary Gee, Visual Media Artist
Joshua Thompson, Classical Pianist
Manon Voice, Spoken Word Artist
Mark Peay, Musician and Music Educator (not pictured)
Sarah Strong, Bookbinder, Papermaker, and Printmaker

This spring and summer, the new artists will participate in training and program development with our Director of Artist Programs Scott Janz, veteran teaching artists, and local educators. The artists will be available for booking in August of 2020.

Since 1961, Arts for Learning has been empowering children to achieve their creative and intellectual potential through arts-integrated education. Arts for Learning employs more than 70 teaching artists who provide performances, workshops, and residencies to schools, libraries, parks and community organizations to reach nearly 40,000 Indiana children every year.
