The Institute will provide an introduction to the field of arts in education, while teaching new and relevant information to provide beginning teaching artists with skills to prepare them for the classroom. Veteran teaching artists will be challenged with new perspectives from a field of experts, including Keynote speakers Nick Jaffe, Becca Barniski, and Dr. Ena Shelley.

As the oldest and largest provider of professional arts education programs in the state, Arts for Learning works with more than 65 teaching artists and arts organizations to provide performances, workshops and residencies to schools, libraries, parks and community centers.
