Indianapolis – November 1, 2016…Arts for Learning has received $5,000 in funding from the Blue River Community Foundation. The grant will be used for an extension of the Fresh StART program at Southwestern Elementary. Over 270 students will engage in Arts for Learning workshops that focus on creating a safe and vibrant community through collaborative art. The lead teaching artist will install a public artwork near the school that will be showcased at a culminating community event.
