Arts for Learning receives National Endowment for the Arts Challenge America Grant

Indianapolis – May 11, 2017… Arts for Learning received a $10,000 Challenge American Grant from the National Endowment for the Arts. These funds will be used to implement a Fresh StART program at Jennings County High School in North Vernon, Indiana. Our Fresh StART program enables students to participate in public art projects that reflect the spirit of the community they call home.

As the oldest and largest provider of professional arts in education programs in the state, Arts for Learning works with more than 60 teaching artists who provide performances, workshops and residencies to schools, libraries, parks and community organizations. Arts for Learning reaches more than 61,000 Indiana children and youth every year.
