Out of all the places you have visited, where is the coolest?
That is the question I posed to everyone in the Arts for Learning office. The best part is that no two people gave the same answer! Stephanie enjoyed empanadas in Argentina. Julie loved hiking in Seattle, while Cassandra had a blast winning a limbo contest in Cancun. Megan loved living in Spain for six months, Ploi was intrigued by the ghost city of Venice, and Karla admired the gorgeous scenery in Bryce Canyon National Park. Angela viewed a huge part of history when she visited the Berlin Wall, and Joli went backpacking in Isle Royale. It looks like we have an office full of travelers!
Lin Yutang, a Chinese linguist and inventor, captured the beauty of travel and being home when he said “No one realizes how beautiful it is to travel until he comes home and rests his head on his old, familiar pillow.”
