Giselle explores the solar system using her multi-sensory approach of theater and dance. Students will use observations of the sun, moon, and stars to describe patterns that can be predicted. They will also learn how the moon appears to move through the sky and changes day to day. They will learn the scale of our solar system, and how the solar system includes, the sun, moon, and seven other planets. The importance of the moon, earth’s rotation, and how the interaction between the sun and the moon cause seasons, tides, eclipses and phases of the moon can also be incorporated.
