The ArtForce Camp offers a Fine Arts apprenticeship experience in both Visual and Performing Arts for students entering 10th, 11th and 12th grade. The Visual Arts Track will run from June 12 – June 30, 2017, 9-3pm and the Performing Arts Track will run from June 19 – June 30, 2017 from 9am-3pm.
Participants will create a project, learn the pedagogy of teaching an arts project and intern teaching a group of younger students. Various art forms will be explored through guest performances and demonstrations from Arts for Learning and guest speakers from the arts and education fields. The culminating experience of the visual arts track comes in the opportunity to teach younger children during and the final family celebration includes an art exhibit in the Ivy Tech studio. The visual arts program is done in collaboration with Ivy Tech and AYS. The performing arts track is done in collaboration with Marian University and NoExit Performance.

Arts for Learning’s afterschool program, brings fun and engaging learning experiences beyond their standard school day setting. We work with our partners to create adaptable programs that can be suited for multi-age groups meeting in a school, community center, church, or park. We offer single visit workshops and performances as well as residencies, comprised of multiple workshops which allow for increased opportunities for students. We have successfully conducted After School programs with Indy Parks, AYS, Office of Catholic Education, the John H. Boner Community Center, Pike Township schools, and more.
Arts for Learning programming is offered all summer long! We offer both sing visit workshops and performances as well as residencies. All of our standard programs can be adapted to fit the needs of each specific partner. Our programs are suited for a variety of age levels for schools, community centers, churches, parks, camps and more.
