The son of an Arts for Learning Board Member is headed to Broadway!

Congratulations to our board member, Denise Halford Holder, and her son Ethan, who has been cast for “The King and I” at the Vivian Beaumont Theatre at Lincoln Center! (New York, NY)

From Denise: “The Arts have always been an important aspect of Ethan’s life and will continue in the future. He is very excited about this upcoming opportunity and looking forward to his journey on The Great White Way!”

Ethan Halford Holder has been performing since the age of four. He started with the Russian Ballet Academy of Indiana and continues his dance training, which includes ballet, jazz, modern, contemporary and tap, with the Indiana Ballet Academy. Ethan has performed on the stage at the Indiana Repertory Theatre (A Christmas Carol, A Midsummer Night’s Dream, and The Velveteen Rabbit), Beef & Boards Dinner Theatre (2011 and 2012 Christmas Shows), Civic Theatre (Pippin), and Footlite Musicals (Peter Pan, Oliver!, and Nine). Ethan is an avid singer and is a member of Young Voices of Indiana, under the direction of Marian Bender.

Denise currently serves on the Arts for Learning Board of Directors and Finance committee. She is a champion of the arts and works hard to ensure that every Indiana student is given a quality arts education. Thank you, Denise!
