Arts for Learning Indiana
Arts for Learning is the premier provider of creative learning programs for youth in Indiana. Each year, we partner with schools and community organizations throughout the state to engage approximately 40,000 youth in the arts. With our roster of Teaching Artists, we offer arts education experiences to empower youth and transform learning.

Arts for Learning Indiana’s Strategic Plan
Since 1961, Arts for Learning Indiana has been bringing creativity back to classrooms and communities through the magic of the arts!
With a powerhouse team of 70+ incredible Teaching Artists, we bring performances, workshops, and residencies to schools, libraries, and organizations across the state—reaching thousands of young minds every year.
As part of the national Young Audiences network, we believe every student deserves the chance to learn through creativity, and we’re here to make that happen!
In July 2025, we launched an exciting new strategic plan shaped by voices from across our community. At the center of this plan are five bright “Rays of Impact” that guide our work: expanding access, uplifting artists, staying relevant, leading boldly, and building a strong, sustainable future.
With fresh partnerships, more support for educators, and a mission to make arts learning accessible to all, we’re dreaming big and making it happen—one brushstroke, beat, or brainstorm at a time!

Arts for Learning Indiana is affiliated with the national Young Audiences Arts for Learning network. Our network is made up of local affiliated nonprofits that collectively impact over 5 million young people each year.
