Arts for Learning will be hosting training sessions with staff from the Wolf Trap Institute for Early Learning Through the Arts, on January 24th from 9 am-4 pm at the 16 Park Community Center. These sessions are intended for artists interested in connecting the arts to early childhood learning.
The Wolf Trap Institute is an internationally respected program that provides professional development in arts integration to early childhood educators.
With the guidance of Wolf Trap trained instructors, artists will explore the elements of music, drama, and dance as building blocks for arts-integrated instruction. Artists will create and share developmentally appropriate, active-learning for children.
This professional development opportunity is made possible with support from The Glick Fund, a fund of Central Indiana Community Foundation, and PNC Foundation. Registration is $50, if you are interested in applying, please email Calle Tinkham at email@example.com.
